AWS CloudFormation Templates adds support for AWS System Manager Secure String Parameters

AWS CloudFormation adds support for Secure String Parameters that can be used to secure passwords and license keys that you don’t want the users to alter or use it for reference. You can now implement the parameters section in the AWS CloudFormation Template with the latest support so to actively reference Secure Strings into the template every time you create or update the stack without exposing the values as a clear text. You can use Secure String Parameters to not expose the values as the clear text in functions, AWS CloudTrail logs, agent logs, and commands. It helps you control the access to the sensitive data. You can also encrypt the data and use your own encryption keys to manage the access.
