Amazon Redshift now allows you to write queries by adding support for lateral column alias reference

Amazon Redshift is a scalable data warehouse that allows you to analyze the data across all data lake and data warehouses. With Amazon Redshift, you can run queries on petabytes of data and exabytes of data and set up new data warehouse in minutes. Now you can write queries that refer to the column alias quickly within the same query that is declared, this improves the readability of the SQL queries. The new support for the lateral column alias references you can write the queries without redoing the same expression in the SELECT List. The SELECT list is name of the columns, expressions, and the functions that the query that you want it to return.
