Amazon Kinesis Data Streams now streams data 65 percent faster with 5x higher fan out

Amazon Kinesis Data Streams has now added two new features that will increase the performance of the Data streaming with Kinesis. They have added a new HTTP/2 data retrieval API and enhanced fan out for improved performance. The fan-out feature delivers logical pipes up to 2 MB/sec of throughput between one or more consumers which enables the customers to scale the consumers reading from the Data streaming in parallel where at the same time maintaining performance. The new HTTP/2 data retrieval API improves the delivery speed of the data streaming up to 65 percent. With this feature, the data will be delivered to the consumers within 50 milliseconds. The customers can now run multiple high-performance streaming applications with low latency on the Single Amazon Kinesis Data Stream.
