Amazon Linux 2 can be used as an Amazon Machine Image on Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute and also as Docker Container Image for Docker environment. Amazon Linux 2 is also available as Microsoft Hyper-V, Oracle VM VirtualBox, Kernel Virtual Machine and for VMware ESXi for development and testing.
