With the latest support you can now set the Amazon Macie with the permission to access resources

Amazon Macie has now added support for the Service linked roles by helping the customers to appoint permissions to the desired member so that they can access the resources in other services on their behalf. Service Linked roles help the customers meet the auditing requirements and help monitor all the actions performed which is then recorded and stored in the AWS CloudTrail logs. The Amazon Macie service linked role which is also called AWSServiceRoleforAmazonMacies has all the required permissions that are required by the Macie to access other AWS resources and services.
