It offers two ways to maximize the value of the Oracle Database License which is first you can determine a custom number of cores when launching the new instance and second you can disable the Intel Hyper-Threading Technology. Optimize CPUs for Relational Database Service for Oracle now uses the newly announced Optimized CPUs for Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute. There are multiple ways to reduce the database cost with the recent introduction of X1 and X1e instances.
