You can now use Amazon Polly Voices in Alexa Skills

Amazon Polly is an AWS managed service that can convert speech into lifelike speech which enables the developer to build applications that talk and create entirely new categories of speech-enabled products. You can now apply to participate in the developer preview that will enable you to utilize eight English Amazon Polly voices to narrate the Alexa skills. If the Alexa skill only utilizes a single voice today then changing voice or implementing a different voice will offer you to provide a more engaging experience with the customers. Developers in the preview can choose a different voice for any announcement by creating an output speech utilizing the structured speech markup language tags that are available via Alexa skills and selecting the Amazon Polly voice using the “voice” tag.
