Amazon Sumerian is an AWS managed service that enables developers to build and launch Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and 3D application easily and quickly without any need of having any specialized programming or 3D graphics expertise. Amazon Sumerian offers an integrated editor, library, asset, APIs and virtual characters, called Sumerian Host which is designed for development and deployment of the applications. Applications that are created by using the Amazon Sumerian are launched in a compatible browser which allows developers to create widely and publish once. Scenes can be viewed from the compatible Virtual Reality Headsets such as HTC Vive, HTC Vive Pro, and Oculus Rifts, Android mobile devices and Augmented Reality compatible iOS devices, digital signage, and laptops. Amazon Sumerian is now available.
