Amazon Elastic Container Service adds Systems Manager parameter in AWS CloudFormation to launch EC2 instances

Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute Systems Manager parameter can be used in AWS CloudFormation to launch Elastic Cloud Compute instances with the latest Elastic Container Service optimized Amazon Machine Image. It is preferred to use the latest version of the ECS optimized AMI when you create a new EC2 cluster for Amazon ECS whereas new release includes new feature update and bug fixes. Earlier you had to make sure that you are utilizing the latest AMI meant subscribing to the ECS AMI SNS topic or the AWS Documentation. Then you had to manually update the CloudFormation template with this ID.
