Amazon Lumberyard Beta 1.13 now supports Text to Speech Customizability, PhysX, and Cloud Gem Cross-Communication

AWS has announced the availability of Amazon Lumberyard Beta 1.13. There are over 220 improvements, new features, and fixes that will help game teams create cloud-connected games with less engineering resources. Cloud Gem Cross Communication will enable the developers to expose the API operations from one Cloud Gem to another so this will make it convenient to create complex, cloud-connected gameplay functionality. Text to Speech Customizability will allow developers to use Speech Synthesis Markup Language in the Cloud Gem Portal to control language accents, timbre, and pacing on the procedurally generated voices. Physx Gem enables developers to utilize Nvidia’s PhysX popular physics engine in Amazon Lumberyard.
