SUSE has announced that they will now allow AWS to resell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP application on Amazon Web Services Marketplace. AWS customers operating SAP workloads on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP application will get a streamlined and incorporated support experience from SUSE and AWS. The AWS customers can purchase SUSE Linux Enterprise on demand by pricing at pay as you go.
This collaboration will meet the customer demand for cost benefits and agility of cloud-based business-critical applications. Naji Almahmoud, Vice President of Global Alliances, SUSE said that there are many enterprises that are using SUSE for mission-critical computing environments that consist also of SAP workloads. With this collaboration, the AWS marketplace will expect continued collaboration which will help them in fulfilling customers demand on the requirement of SAP workloads on Amazon Web Services. Bas Kamphuis, GM of Amazon Web Services said that they are excited about this collaboration with SUSE to offer SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP application on Amazon Web Services Marketplace.
The customers will be offered Amazon Business support by providing a single point of contact. He also added that the collaboration is build to help the customer to scale and deploy easily SAP HANA workloads on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP application cost-effectively.
