AWS Deep Learning AMIs now supports Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit 2.4 and TensorFlow 1.5

The Amazon Web Services Deep Learning AMIs now adds support for Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit 2.4 and TensorFlow 1.5 with support for NVIDIA CUDA 9 and cuDNN 7 drivers. Amazon Machine Learning users can now leverage from the mixed precision training on the V100 Volta GPUs powering Elastic Cloud Compute P3 instances. In the earlier test for the TensorFlow 1.5 on Volta; the training the ResNet-50 benchmark with the synthetic ImageNet data in FP16 mode on the p3.8xlarge instances was 1.8x time is faster than the training with the TensorFlow 1.4.1. The AWS Deep Learning Amazon Machine Learning is designed to help you create stable, scalable and secure deep learning applications.
