Amazon Elasticsearch Service is available now in the Amazon Web Services GovCloud (US) Region

AWS has made Amazon Elasticsearch Service available in AWS GovCloud (US) Region. Amazon ElasticSearch is a managed service that provides Elasticsearch’s easy to use APIs and real-time capabilities such as scalability, availability and the security that will be needed for the production workloads. Amazon Elasticsearch is available in 17 regions all around the world. Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Canada (Central), South America (Sao Paulo), US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), US West (N. California), AWS GovCloud (US), EU (Ireland), EU (London), EU (Frankfurt), EU (Paris), and China (Ningxia), operated by NWCD.
