Amazon Elastic Container Service now adds New Endpoint to Access Metadata and Task Metrics

Container Level Docker statistics and Task Metadata can be now queried for tasks that are launched utilizing the AWS Virtual Private Cloud Network mode. This will give you the environmental data such as the container, Image ID and task whereas you can also check the health and status of the running task and containers. Earlier the users could only access the container statistics and metadata by querying in a metadata file on the Host Elastic Cloud Compute Instance. Docker Statistics and Metadata can be queried from the HTTP endpoint by using the RESTful API call for task launched utilizing the AWS Virtual Private Network mode which will make it easier to query the statistics and metadata.
