Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL is now available in the Asia Pacific Region (Tokyo)

The Amazon Aurora with the PostgreSQL compatible edition is now available in 10 different regions. It is now available at the AWS Pacific Region (Tokyo) where the users will have a new option for availability, scalability and database placement. Amazon Aurora consolidates the high-end commercial databases availability and performance with the cost-effectiveness and simplicity of open source databases. It delivers up to three times more performance compared to the PostgreSQL database where if combined together it increases the security, scalability, and durability.
