Amazon Pinpoint Extensions adds new messaging channels to Pinpoint utilising the Amazon Web Service Lambda and also enabled enhanced Pinpoint Segmentation

Amazon Pinpoint Extensions now allows customers to incorporate new channels such as social messenger and in-application messaging channels with Pinpoint Segmentation and Campaign management capabilities. The customers can also enhance the campaign segmentation and message during the campaign execution by defining Amazon Web Service Lambda functions to run on each campaign execution. The customers by using the DELIVERY mode can extend the Pinpoint messaging channels and bring presently un-supported channels maintained and owned directly into the campaign. They can also use the FILTER mode to tailor Pinpoint campaign by facilitating modification the campaign’s segment at campaign execution.
