Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute now supports Inter-Region Virtual Private Cloud Peering

Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute now enables peering relationships so to be established between Virtual Private Cloud on all AWS Regions. Inter-Region Virtual Private Cloud Peering enables VPC resource like Elastic Cloud Compute instances, Relational Database Service and Amazon Lambda Functions operating in different AWS Regions to connect with each other by using the Private IP address without any need of gateways, separate network appliances or VPN connection. The Inter-Region Virtual Private Cloud offers a cost-effective and simple way to share resources between the region or replicate data for geographic redundancy.
