The Launch Template is a new feature that will allow a new way of templatizing the launch request. By launching the Launch Template streamline you will be simplifying the launch process for Spot, On-Demand Instances, Auto Scaling and Spot Fleet. Launch Template decreases the steps needed to build an instance by capturing all launch parameter from one resource. This will make the process more convenient to reproduce. Also with the support for Spot, On-Demand Instances, Auto Scaling and Spot Fleet the Launch template makes it convenient to apply standards and best practices for helping the users to better manage their cost, minimize the risk of deployment errors and enhance the security posture.
