Amazon Web Service has announced a new support for AWS OpsWorks for Chef Automate. The new support contains the new version of Chef Automate 1.6x which also consists of Chef Automate with incorporated compliance. Earlier, you had to manually install the Chef InSpec so that you could operate the compliance as code solution via Chef. With this new release, AWS OpsWorks for Chef Automate supports continuous and integrated compliance where you can view the results in a unified dashboard via compliance views in Chef’s UI. Pre-packaged Profile can be utilised from Chef that support many industry benchmarks such HIPAA or PCI or you can generate profiles for your own custom requirements.
