AWS Relation Database Service for SQL Server can now scale the storage database instances up to 16 TB. Instances should have the General Purpose or Provisioned IOPS storage types to be eligible. Instances that are with older storage configurations will not be eligible. The size can be modified of the existing instance through the Modify action in the Amazon Relation Database Service Console or through CLI. The Scaling option will disable in the Console if the instances are not eligible. Describe valid DB instance modification CLI command can be used that returns the valid storage option for the Database instance.
