Amazon RedShift have now improved the performance by automatically shifting queries to the next matching queue without restarts

Amazon Redshift has now improved their query performance by automatically Hoppping to the queries without restarting the moved queries. With this new enhancement to the Workload Management provisions more efficient use of resources to upgrade the performance of the queries. With this new update the customers can now directly create tables as style write queries to manage load (ETL) batch, extract and transform process. It can also route long-running write and read queries to the separate queue to increase the performance of the queries that runs on the original queue.
