Amazon RDS MySQL database can be restored easily from the MySQL Backup

Amazon Relational Database Service for MySQL Database instances can be easily restored from the backup of the existing MySQL Database including the MySQL database operating on the Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute or outside of Amazon Web Service. You have to first create a backup by using the Percona XtraBackup tool and then uploading the resulting files to the Amazon S3 bucket. After this create a new Amazon Relational Database Service DB instance from the backup files in Amazon S3 directly via the RDS console or the AWS Command Line Interface.
