Lambda@Edge now offers Access to Country and Device Type Headers, Query String Parameters

Lambda@Edge allows the users to customise the content with low latency without any need of managing the origin servers. Lambda@Edge will make personalization of the content more convenient by giving you the access to the additional attributes of the request. The users can now access query string parameters, device type headers and country in the Amazon Web Service Lambda functions. With this new ability, for instance, you can redirect the end users to the language or country to the specific versions of the website based on the end user’s locations from where the request was made. For this features, there is no additional fee.
