Amazon Web Service introduces the Deep Learning AMI for Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud P3 instances

Amazon Web Service announced a newer set of AWS Deep Learning AMIs that is already installed with the deep learning frameworks that are optimized for the NVIDIA Volta V100 GPUs in the new Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud P3 instances family. The new Amazon Machine Intelligence that is configured and pre-installed with the CUDA 9 for both Amazon Linux and Ubuntu along with the other GPU drivers to take advantage of the speed of Volta on P3 that consist of cuDNN 7.0 and the NVIDIA Driver 384.81. They have also added popular frameworks that are optimised for P3 and Volta including the Apache MXNet v0.12 RC1, Tensorflow, and Caffe2 vO.8.1.
