Amazon Elastic MapReduce now supports per-second billing

Amazon Elastic MapReduce is now billed in one-second in all the Amazon Web Service Regions. In Amazon Cluster there is a minimum 1 minute charge per instance and per-second billing is applicable to the cluster that is new launched or it will be running already. The Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute instances in the cluster consists with On-Demand, Reserved Instances, Spot and Amazon Elastic Book Store volumes is attached to these instances that are billed in per second increments that will be effective from Oct 2.The Pricing is listed on the per hour basis but the bills are calculated now down to the second and show times in the decimal form.
