Oracle gets supports from Amazon RDS for Huge Pages

Oracle now supports HugePages from Amazon RDS for large database instances. HugePages improves the performance of the large databases by decreasing the CPU time spent on memory management and also reducing the size of the page tables. HugePages will support all the editions of Oracle Database 12.1.0.2 and 11.2.0.4 running on R3 and M4 database instances. You may have to enable the HugePages support because it is disabled by default for R3 and M4 instances. To enable the HugePages support you have to set the use_large_pages parameter to Only. For more details, you can refer to RDS for Oracle Documentation. It is very easy to set up, operate and scale your Oracle Database Deployments in the cloud. Check Amazon RDS for Oracle Database for Pricing for regional availability.
