AWS Web Application Firewall and AWS Shield Advanced is now available in US West Region

Amazon Web Services announced that AWS Shield Advanced and AWS Web Application Firewall are now available in US West (N. California) Region. AWS Shield is administered by Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) is a protection service that secures Web applications running on AWS. Amazon Web Services caters always on detection and automatic inline mitigations that will reduce application latency and downtime so ultimately, there is no need enlist AWS support to aid from DDOS protection. AWS Web Application Firewall secures your Web Applications from unwanted Web application viruses that will interrupt application availability, consume excessive resources or compromise security. AWS WAF will give you full control on the traffic flow whether you want to block or allow to your web applications by customizing web security rules.
