Amazon Web Services have introduced AWS Lambda and API Gateway to Canada Region where now it is directly available from Montreal. AWS Lambda is a cloud computing service that runs code in response to triggers and it also manages to compute resources automatically. It has the capability to run ‘severless code’ by developers. You can set triggers for events such as image upload, website click, application action or an output to a connected device. API gateway is a managed service that will give the ability for the developers to create, maintain, publish, secure and monitor API from the AWS management console. It has the capabilities of handling up to thousands of concurrent request which includes traffic management, access control, and authorization.
