Amazon Web Services will be providing jobs in tech but the veterans necessary don’t have the right qualification or training for it so Amazon will be providing training for the veterans and their spouses.
Amazon is planning to provide 25000 veterans and military around the country which was announced last year. The company is working with the government to provide training for the veterans. Fort Meade will be starting a program at UMBC Training Centers that will be designed to prepare them for the jobs in Amazon Web Services. The training will be a Four-month program which includes intensive training in Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Linux, MySQL, Apache, networking and shell scripting said the UMBC Training Centers’, Homer Minnick.
