SQL Server Enterprise Edition License is now launched by Amazon RDS which available in all AWS commercial regions and offers additional instance types, M4 and R3 with only 4vCPUs. There will be no need to purchase SQL Server licenses in License included service model. In Amazon RDS pricing model it includes the underlying hardware resources, database management capabilities, and software license. By simply launching SQL Server Enterprise Edition instance by selecting the license included option in the AWS Management Console. It will help reduce the cost of the R3 instances that run SQL Server Enterprise License. By opting for SQL Server Enterprise Edition License the setting up process becomes easier and operating and scalability performance increases.
