Amazon Linux AMI has got new upgrades

Amazon Linux AMI 2016.09 is an upgraded version which is available for download on your cloud platform. The older version of AMI is also available for launch in EC2 along with the new version of Amazon Linux AMI 2016.09. Amazon is encouraging their customers to upgrade their system to the newer version as a part of the support process. Amazon Linux AMI will give a continuous flow of upgraded version updates to increase the performance and ease in operating the devices. There has been new improved security updates and bug fix. They have also added support for NVMe devices in preparation for I3 instances. It will also automatically configure IPv6 addresses on secondary Ethernet. After your upgrade is completed make sure to reboot your instance system.
