Amazon Web Services are planning to open a new East Coast
Campus in Northern Virginia where the same area that hosts its draping over the
U.S. East data centre, announced the governor of Virginia.
This expansion in North Virginia will create 1500 new
jobs but Amazon Web Services haven’t confirmed about the number of employees
that they will be hiring but the locals are hoping for the same. Amazon Web
Services already employs 7000 people in Northern Virginia where most of the
people are local. It is going to be a data centre or just of an office space is
not clear where an AWS representative declined to mention.
