Amazon Relational Database Service for MySQL now supports the MySQL community Edition minor versions 5.5.59, 5.6.39 and 5.7.21 in all the Amazon Web Services Regions. This new version consists of functionality improvements and a number of fixes for the MySQL database engine. AWS encourages the customers to upgrade the Relational Database Service for MySQL database instances at their ease. Amazon RDS for MySQL database instance can be simply upgraded with just a few clicks in the Amazon Web Services Management Console.
